Lowered voices, walking inside, respecting each child's work space. An informal setting where children can explore what interests them without too many distractions, moving freely, as they would at home rather than teacher directed activities. Can I visit the nursery during the day?Yes ! but by appointment only. How will I know how my child is doing? One of the pragrams goals is to communicate openly with the parents. Written reports are given to the parents twice yearly with formal parent / teacher conference sessions. Naturally, you can speak to your childs teacher throughout the term. Please ensure your child does not wear jewellery that can get caught on the playground equipment or lost.
ALL CLOTHING MUST BE CLEARLY LABELED WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME.
IMN cannot be responsible for lost property. Can children bring books, toys etc. from home?If a comforting toy is needed to ease the transition in to the nursery, we are happy for the child to have these until they are settled. Toys are allowed only for Show and Tell days, and you will be advised of these. What holidays do you celebrate? With our student diversity we try to recognise the holidays of many culltures - Birthdays, Ministry declared holidays, Eid, Easter, Christmas, Chinese New Year and so on.
